I have never had to download an authenticator to receive a 2FA. Upon trying several times on your website, I was unsuccessful. I tried Google authenticator, Authy. Every time I entered a code, it said invalid. You need to make it easier....none of my financial institutions require me to download anything to receive an SMS code. You shouldn't either.
